Joe Royer – Pastor
 
Pastor Joe grew up in New Madison, Ohio. He has a degree in Social Work from Youngstown State University and his Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary in 1998. He was ordained elder in 2001. He is married and has 5 children and 2 grandchildren. He loves baseball and bicycling. He is a die-hard Reds and Bengals fan. He and his wife  enjoy Friday night date nights and going on cruises.
Amy Anticoli – Lunch Bunch Coordinator 
 
Mrs. Amy has a Bachelor of Arts in French from Wright State University.  All three of  her children are Bright Beginnings alumni. She started working here in 2014 and loves being a part of the Bright Beginnings family.  Her interests include watching football, listening to music, and spending time outside with her family
Kim Crosen, Director
 

In addition to being the Director of Bright Beginnings and A.C.E., Mrs. Kim is First United Methodist’s Christian Education Director. She has 28 years of experience working with children and an education degree.  She founded Bright Beginnings in 2003 to be a preschool which meets each child at their developmental level through exploration and experiences.  Mrs. Kim has a passion for teaching children from a Christian perspective and her energy and enthusiasm are contagious. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons and is especially fond of a relaxing day at the beach.

Kerri Dome
 
Kerri is our Church Office Manager. Kerri has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Write State University and she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
 
Becky Frost – Parent Connection
Mrs. Becky has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Toledo.  She enjoys connecting people and diving into important parenting topics and studies. Becky enjoys being in a school setting and watching the children grow socially, emotionally and spiritually.  She loves spending time with her husband and two daughters.  They love to travel, and to have fun adventures with each other.

Jody Gilkison, Bright Beginnings Accountant
 
Jody manages all the financial aspects of Bright Beginnings, including tuition.  She has a Bachelor of Science – Business Administration in Accounting from The Ohio State University.  She has 29 years of accounting experience.  Jody enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her boys play competitive golf and scrap booking.
 

Ida Sellars, Special Events Coordinator

Ida has been with Bright Beginnings for nine years coordinating all our special events like the Pumpkin Patch, Breakfast with Santa, and Spring Sing, among others.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Ohio University.  She loves being able to come to work every day to see our students’ beautiful, smiling faces.  “I feel blessed to be able to form connections with our little ones and their families through all of the fun activities that are planned throughout the year”.  When not a Bright Beginnings, she loves to travel with her husband and two daughters, and enjoys reading, boating, and swimming.

Laura Zeller – School Counselor
 
My name is Laura Zeller and I am excited to be your new school counselor! I am available to help your kiddos at school as well as be a resource for parents. I have been an elementary counselor in Springfield City Schools and Huber Heights City Schools. David and I have been married for 13 years. We have two boys, 8 and 6, that have gone through BB for the past five years.
Lois Cox, Office Volunteer
 
Lois has been volunteering in the church and preschool office for 8 years.  She worked for Dayton Power and Light for 35 years.  She worked in customer service.  After retiring from DP&L, she worked for 15 years in the gift shops on Main Street in Springboro.  Lois enjoys working at Bright Beginnings because of the excitement and noise of the children.  “It is just such a happy place at Bright Beginnings”.
